Part 4’s Release
I have returned to the keyboard and will be releasing “The Vampire from Hell Returns (Part 4)” in October. (Join the Facebook Release Party on Oct. 20th.) I’m very excited to continue Rayea’s story, at least for three more installments, and I’m delighted to say that, for bad or worse, I’m past the first obstacle I encountered during my first year of writing. And I’m not looking back. It may not always be smooth sailing from now on, but that’s okay because I’ll keep sailing. I’m hoping many of you will join me for the ride.
Please be aware that once Part 4 goes live, I’ll be aggressively promoting the book and series. You’ll hear a great deal about it being live which means you’ll see many posts from my blog here. If you’d like to help me promote the book, please email me at ally at allythomas dot com to learn how you can help.
The Vampire from Hell Returns (Part 4 – The Vampire from Hell)

As she juggles her new responsibilities and starting a relationship with her best friend, Blick, Rayea realizes her sordid past with her family may be catching up with her. When two of her friends go missing, she knows she must begin a search to find them. And the first place she has to look? Hell. Read Chapter 1 on Watt Padand Scribd.com
Pre-Order Part 4
Click here to find out more information about pre-ordering The Vampire from Hell Returns (Part 4).
It has been over a year since Part 3 – A Vampire on Vacation was published in July 2012. Since then I have not released anything related to this series. That’s a startling, and sobering fact, for me – even for my readers maybe– because for many months last year, I did not know if I’d return to writing this series. I didn’t know if I’d keep writing at all.
It contains the first 3 installments plus character sketches, story insights, hints about upcoming parts, behind the scenes information, excerpts from new works including the upcoming 4th installment, The Vampire from Hell Returns.

Spin-off to The Vampire from Hell series
If you are a fan of my series, The Vampire from Hell you may want to read more about a new short story by Ally Thomas. It is set in the year 3015 A.D. featuring a werewolf who was born with a blood virus. His mother is a vampire from Hell and his father is a hellhound turned werewolf. Sound familiar?
Meet Zachary, the Zombie Wolf.
I thought it would be fun to set a story around a child of Rayea and Blick’s. This is assuming that they actually get together, are married at some point, and live happily ever after with a son (if it occurs in that order). It’s a possibility for where the Vampire from Hell series may be headed. But it’s just a possibility.
Zombie Wolf: The Next Generation (Excerpt) in Darlings of Decay
A short story from an upcoming paranormal fantasy book called Zombie Wolf: The Next Generation #1 is currently available. You can click here to read it for FREE in the zombie anthology, Darlings of Decay. “Zombie Wolf: The Next Generation #1” will be out in 2014.
At twenty-four Zachary has been through many zombie outbreaks and knows how to stay alive. He’s been so good at killing zombies for so many years that he makes a living at it. He claims it’s the reason he has the nickname the ‘Zombie Wolf,’ even though he knows that’s not the case.
With time and space travel being as common as the Internet and cell phones, Zachary and his team travel often to kill zombies and rid the solar system of total infestation. Now in the year 3015 A.D., more sightings of zombies are being reported on Planet Earth, but no one knows how to kill these snake-like creatures. Zachary’s destiny unfolds when he comes face to face with the next generation of zombie and an innocent bystander gets bitten. He considers killing the attractive girl because she’s as good as dead anyways. But when he sees she has a werewolf mark, same as what he has, he knows he must save her. Young Adult Romance
Love Begins in Hell (The Moon Journals: Part 1)
For some, love begins when you least expect it. For Elana, falling in love begins in Hell. When twenty-one-year-old Elana is kidnapped and finds herself in Hell of all places, she discovers something unique in her ancestry. She’s a werewolf and she’s fallen in love with someone unexpectedly Dante, the young demon who agrees to help her escape.
You haven’t seen the last of the Vampire from Hell. Indeed, Part 4 is rising. I’ve had a few people ask me and many more people check my Coming Soon page on my blog, so I thought I’d share a blog post today.
I haven’t stopped my series, The Vampire from Hell. I’ve just run into some real life complications while writing the next installment, “The Vampire from Hell Returns (Part 4).” That’s why it’s taking me so long to get this done. I apologize for making all of you wait. But please remember, I’m still here and still writing this story for you. It’s not over. You’ll hear more from Rayea soon.
Releasing Date for Part 4?
Because I’ve already balked on Part 4’s release more times than I’d like to admit, I won’t be declaring a release date for this installment or future installments. If everything goes well, Part for will be released ON or BEFORE August 31, 2013. My birthday is Labor Day weekend and I want to have this next installment in your hands before then.
What I can say that I will be doing is getting ready for the release when it’s two weeks out. Once you see me talking a lot about Part 4, that will give you a good indication. I’ll probably announce a Release Weekend so that when it goes live on Amazon and Barnes & Noble everyone will see the links.
Once this installment does go live, I’m going to be promoting the Hell out of it. (Sorry for the pun.) You’ll be sick of hearing about Part 4 after another two week period. I’ll go ahead and apologize now for that. If you’d like to help me promote Part 4, join my Street Team. I’ll be giving away prizes to people who go above and beyond with helping me promote this book.
You can stay connected with me to know where I’m at with my writing. Here’s three ways I suggest:
Follow My Blog – You can find out more book news by following this blog. The “Follow My Blog Via Email” link is at the top left of the blog. Just enter your email address. When I publish a new blog post, you’ll receive an email linking to it. This is the best way to stay current with my updates and books news.
Subscribe to Email Updates at Amazon
Amazon has a new feature where readers can subscribe to email updates from their favorite authors. I haven’t seen it tested yet, but supposedly you can go to my Author page and subscribe to my updates.
The link will be on the FAR RIGHT SIDE of my Amazon page.

The Latest Promo Cover & Snippet
Below is the latest promo cover I put on my Facebook page for Part 4. This is from a possible closing scene to Part 4. I’m still working on it. This is the first time I’ve written the ending before the Prologue because I have a specific idea of how Part 4 will lead in to Part 5. Yes, a Part 5 installment is already being worked on. 😀
Snippet from “The Vampire from Hell Returns (Part 4)” –
“Suddenly I felt the fear rise up in the pit of my stomach. It had always been my reaction when Father screamed or yelled at me. Instantly and inwardly, I backed down. No questions asked. Then it dawned on me. I could end this cycle here and now. I didn’t need Father’s blessings or Stephanie’s sisterly love. I didn’t either of them. You are not your father’s daughter. I didn’t have to be Satan’s daughter anymore. I could be just me, whoever that was. I had people who love me. Me, just for me, despite everything that had happened to me before. And I had tried to help the people here, giving them my blood to survive Stephanie’s tortures.
Finally I rose to my feet and I heard Stephanie gasp in horror.”
Author Note:My phrase “Part 4 is rising” has many meanings to me as I write this. One being of course – as you may guess – Rayea possibly standing up (literally and figuratively) to her father. We’ll see how the writing goes with this ending scene.
I’m very excited to have best-selling author Sharon Hamilton on my blog today. While she writes a hot Navy SEAL series that has gone on to sell in the Amazon Top 100 lists since last summer, today she will be telling us about her Golden Vampires of Tuscany series.
On Valentine’s Day, she released Mortal Bite (with the yummy red cover). I’d like to thank Sharon again for being on my blog! Be sure to leave a comment on the article today after you read the article. Thanks ~ally
What is Mortal Bite About?
Golden Vampire Paolo Monteleone begins raising a son he did not know he fathered, after the murder of the boy’s mother. He meets a beautiful human college professor, Carabella Sampson, at a Halloween costume ball. She is an expert on vampire lore, but doesn’t believe in their existence. Paolo dresses up as himself: a vampire.
A dark coven leader has targeted her for elimination, before she can reveal secrets of the Golden Vampire lineage she has obtained from an ancient book. Can there be a happily ever after if either his lover or his young son has to pay the ultimate sacrifice to protect the Golden Vampire race? And will he be able to live with himself if he has to choose between them?
My questions for Sharon and her answers are below:
What would you say makes your vampires unique to the paranormal genre?
My characters are Golden Vampires, meaning they can live in the sun, daylight hours. They don’t have to go into coffins at night. They are also immortal, but born human. At the age beyond puberty, they get to decide whether to remain human, and mortal, or become vampire.
Therefore, children are special, coveted, and bring a huge vulnerability to the race. Enemies of the Goldens target the children. Can you imagine the grief of living forever, having lost a child? So they protect their children with their own lives.
What do you like about your main vampire character?
Paolo Monteleone is the younger brother of Marcus, and has a past. Goldens have one fated mate, and sometimes they have to wait centuries to find them. Paolo had a fating with the long time paramour of his older brother, before Marcus found his fated female. The woman was part witch, and Paolo ran away from this fating, not realizing he had fathered a child.
He comes back to Italy to stand by his brother’s side, and takes responsibility for his actions in Honeymoon Bite. In Mortal Bite, he falls in love with a mortal woman. He falls in love as a human, not in a vampire way.
I like the play with this couple. She studies vampires, but doesn’t believe in them. He hides his true identity, until he can no longer help himself. All in all, he remains an honorable man.
What are some strengths your main vampire character has?
He will protect his son, and his family above satisfying his own needs. He pledges his life to preserving the family and their safety.
Is there one particular thing your vampires can do or vampire myth that you enjoyed creating for this series?
The dark vamps, who are security detail for the Monteleone family, are able to trace, like other vampire characters written by other authors. But, since they hire ex-Navy SEALs to help them with securitry, the SEALs love tracing to go to burger joints, pick up beer and pizza. I loved writing that part. Plan to use it in the future. I have three brothers, the Jett Brothers, who will perhaps have their own books in the future.
And of course, the hero traces to the heroine’s bathtub (see the excerpt) because he can’t help himself, he feels such a pull towards her. Like he was summoned. That was a fun scene to write.
Name a rule about vampires you’d like to break (or did break/modify) for this series or another series?
The Golden Vamps who can live in the daylight. I like that they are contrasted to the dark vamps, who cannot. And there is a big twist at the end of the book I don’t want to give away.
What other book or series about vampires have you read that you really like?
Of course I was a great Anne Rice fan for years. I read a lot of Kressley Cole and Nailini Singh, and more recently enjoyed reading Tina Folsom’s Scanguards series.
Do you have an excerpt from Mortal Bite you can share today?
I certainly do.
Excerpt, Mortal Bite: (***Contains Adult, Strong Sexual Language***)
Something warm between her legs seemed to vibrate, a gentle sensation. She began to orgasm, imagining him tasting her there, lapping and nibbling. But when she opened her eyes, there was no one near her, no one appeared behind her in the mirror. Swinging her arms out, she turned and could neither feel nor see anyone standing in her bathroom.
The water continued to pour into the lavender scented bubbles, calling her.
She stepped into the tub and then sat, keeping her knees to her chest until she got used to the heat. She shut off the water and relaxed, leaning back into the tub and closing her eyes.
That’s when she heard his words faintly caressing her face as if he was suspended above her.
Her eyes flashed open, but no one was there. Cutting across the light purple bubbles and pungent floral scent was the smell of fresh-picked lemons.
The same scent she’d found on the sealing wax on the mysterious letter she’d found in the old book.
Paolo had been surprised his whisper traveled to her. Although he was clear across the valley from Cara’s home, he could see her in his mind. He saw the beautiful flesh he had tasted, the tapered ends of her fingers as he felt what she felt, those rich pillows of flesh that were her ample bosom. He knew what it tasted like to be between her legs, and his mouth watered as his fangs dropped. He’d been heartbroken when she slipped into the water where her scent would be buried in the lavender.
He’d conjured her, rubbing her vision all over the erection he felt in his pants and he’d said it—“Mi amore,”—more as a need than a prayer. And he saw her react in his dream. She’d heard him. He could see it on her face.
“Can you love me, Carabella?” he whispered. He watched as she turned around in the tub and checked the wall behind her. She was looking for him. She rose to her knees. The delicious shape of her shoulders, narrowing at her waist, and the soap bubbles slipping down her back to the upper reaches of her bottom. He was tantalized. With her hair up atop her head she turned again and looked right at him, except he knew she really didn’t see him. But she felt him spying on her.
And the lovely object of his desire wasn’t afraid.
Thank the God of vampires.
Still on her knees, she felt between her legs, arching backwards.
“Give me your pleasure, Carabella,” he whispered, as he stroked himself. He felt her shudder just as if he was deep inside her. “You feel me? You feel my hardness? You feel my seed wanting to find solace in your folds?
He heard her moan, “Yes. Mi amore.”
Could it be? Could she hear him, feel him when he wasn’t there? What was this connection?
“Deeper, I want you deeper,” she whispered.
Paolo grasped the arms of the chair in his bedroom, then hastily unfastened his pants, peeling them off his thighs, sitting naked. “Need to be inside you, Bella. Invite me in, please let me come inside you,” he whispered.
And then he heard it.
“Yes. Come to me.”
The summons took only a second and he had traced to her bedroom. He was in the tub with her, his shirt wet and clinging to his skin, but he had found her opening. He raised her knees up over his shoulders and, pulling her buttocks toward him with both his hands, forced her over him, sending him deep inside her.
She opened her eyes wide and saw him. Really saw him.
In a flash of energy, water was splashing everywhere as Cara struggled to get herself out of the tub, knocking bottles of bubble bath and crystals all around the granite ledge, some breaking on the floor. She then stepped on the broken glass and cried out as she began to hop, holding one bloody foot behind her as she ran for a pile of clothes on her bed.
Paolo stood up, at first unaware of how ridiculous he must look, with a wet white cotton shirt and nothing else, his erection drooping, his limbs covered in bubbles.
“Bella, please, love. Let me explain.”
“Don’t you fucking get near me you animal!” she screamed. She held a knitting needle in her right hand like a dagger.
“I can explain this to you. Please, let me do so.”
“I don’t want to hear anything from your mouth except the apology you’ll give me after I’ve had you arrested.”
“Don’t you want to know what happened? Don’t you want to know how I got here?”
She looked at him for a second, and he thought perhaps there was a chance she would allow herself a glimpse of the truth. But sadly, she was full of anger and fear. Her naked body shivered, but she seemed not to notice. There was no place where logic could take hold, he realized.
“You get out of my house this instant. I’m still calling the cops. I’ll let you explain yourself to them.”
“Cara, it isn’t what you think. Honestly. Please.”
“No? You sneak in and fuck me when I’m taking a bath. Violate me when I’m daydreaming. Did you slip something into my wine or something? I’ll bet your creepy brother is on his way over here, too, and you’ll both do me and laugh about it all the way home. That the way you rich playboys operate? Can’t get girls the right way, so you have to drug them to get your jollies. Well, not with me, you cretin.”
“Get the hell out of here.”
“Bella, you called me.”
“I did nothing of the sort.”
“Yes, you called me. I traced here. But you called me. I couldn’t help but come.”
“You lying son of a bitch. Get out!” she screamed. Paolo was worried someone would come inquiring, she was so loud. Soon her phone began to ring.
“I hope this is the cops that someone in my building called. If I had a gun I’d shoot out both your kneecaps.”
“I’ll go. But you need to know one thing.”
“You need to know I am vampire.”
“Just—what? What did you say?”
“I am a Golden vampire. An old race. Yes, Carabella, vampires do exist. There are many of us—”
The phone stopped ringing abruptly, like someone had ripped it out of the wall. Paolo wondered if his powers had done this.
“Shut up with your lies,” she said.
“It’s the truth. Think about it. One moment you were daydreaming, then you called my name, asked me to come, and I did. You wanted me inside you. I obliged, I am sorry to say.” Paolo noticed his member had begun to arch up again at the talk about coming and obliging. In a horrible twist of fate, Cara glanced back at his groin. Her frown and look of utter disgust broke his heart.
“Who do you think I am, some bimbo you have to give some fantastical explanation to so you can get laid? I’m not falling for it. Or, are you one of those who get off on violence. Well, if you want violence—”
She stepped towards him, holding the knitting needle high above her head, ready to strike. He traced to her side so fast she looked everywhere in front but didn’t suspect he’d made it all the way around her. He grabbed the knitting needle and tossed it out of the bedroom and down the hallway. His arms encircled hers as he held her in place, covering her back with his chest, making her immobile. He whispered into her ear, with a trace of glamour.
“I love you. I would never hurt you, mi amore.”
He could feel the softness of her limbs, the warmth in her heart he had touched, but then her natural human instincts kicked in and she went rigid with fear again. It was no use, he realized.
“You are an animal. Get your filthy hands off me or I’ll scream and alert the whole building.”
Paolo traced back in front of her, standing now longer than an arm’s length away. “Enough,” he said. “In time, you will have questions. When you do, I would be happy to answer them.”
Cara started to shake. Paolo reached for a large bath towel and threw it toward her so she could cover up, which she quickly did. He found another towel for himself and wrapped it around his waist. He felt completely ridiculous in his sopping shirt, wrapped in a light yellow-colored bath sheet, dripping wet, naked and barefoot.
“I’ll return the towel tomorrow,” he mumbled, staring at the wet bedroom floor.
“Keep it. I never want to see you again.”
Paolo loved the stern fixture of her jaw, lips slammed shut together, the determined stare as she tried to be brave. He knew she’d have a problem with this next part, but he couldn’t help himself. He broke a wide grin, and before she could react, he traced home.
Five lucky commenters will receive a Kindle copy of Mortal Bite. If you want to be entered in the drawing, please leave your email address in a comment on this article. If you would prefer to receive Honeymoon Bite, Book 1 in the Golden Vampire series instead, please specify.
Thanks to Ally for inviting me. Hope all of you come back again and join me further in the Golden Vampires of Tuscany Series.
